The UGREEN CM383 (item 80864) is a compact USB-A external sound adapter that adds a 3.5mm TRRS audio jack to a computer or game console. Plug in a headset and you can listen and talk through the same jack, with no driver to install.

Listening and talking through one jack: The 3.5mm TRRS port carries both headphone sound and the microphone signal of a headset with a 4-pole plug. This is useful when a PC's built-in audio jack is damaged or missing, or when you want a headset jack on a console or computer that only has USB ports.

Plug and play: No driver or software is needed. Plug the adapter into a USB-A port and the system recognises it as a sound device, powered from the USB port itself.

Aluminium alloy shell: The body is made of aluminium alloy, which makes it more durable than a plastic adapter. Its small size lets you carry it in a laptop bag and leave it plugged in.

Good to know

The jack is a TRRS (4-pole) combo port: for the microphone to work, the headset must have a TRRS plug. UGREEN shows that the microphone does not work with TRS or TS plugs.
