The SONOFF MINIR2 is a compact Wi-Fi smart switch module that is installed behind an existing wall switch to make the light or appliance on that circuit controllable from your phone. It works on AC 100-240V, handles loads up to 10A, and connects directly to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.

Two-way control, keep your wall switch: The MINIR2 fits inside the switch box and is wired together with your existing switch. You can still turn the light on and off by hand from the wall, and also control it from the app or by voice, so the room looks the same as before.

App control, schedules and sharing: Through the eWeLink app you can switch the connected load remotely, set schedules, and share the device with your family. This lets you, for example, turn lights on at a set time without being at home.

Smart scenes: The MINIR2 can be used in scenes that trigger other smart devices, so one action or condition can turn several devices on or off together.

Voice control: It works with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can turn the connected light or appliance on or off with a voice command.

DIY mode (REST API): The MINIR2 has an open REST API that works over your local network (LAN). This allows it to be connected to home automation systems such as Home Assistant for custom setups.

Good to know

The MINIR2 works with 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi only. Maximum load is 10A. It is wired into mains power, so installation should be done by a qualified electrician with the power switched off.
