The EZVIZ HP4 (CS-HP4) is a battery-powered peephole doorbell that replaces the standard door viewer. A 1080p camera with a 155° wide-angle lens sits on the outside of the door, and a 4.3-inch color screen on the inside shows who is there. When a visitor presses the button, a built-in chime rings indoors and you receive a video call in the EZVIZ App.
Indoor 4.3-inch color screen: You can see the doorstep on the indoor screen without opening the door or picking up a phone. EZVIZ notes this makes it easy for elderly people and children to check who is outside.
Video calls and two-way talk in the app: The HP4 supports local and remote video intercom, so you can view the live video and talk to the visitor from the EZVIZ App when you are away from home.
155° wide-angle view with night vision: The 2.0 mm lens covers a 155° diagonal field of view, which suits apartment corridors and doorsteps. The camera switches between day and night modes automatically, with infrared night vision up to 3 m.
Wire-free, rechargeable battery: The HP4 runs on a 4,600 mAh rechargeable lithium battery. EZVIZ rates standby at up to 150 days, based on its lab data with 3 minutes of use per day, so real battery life depends on how often the doorbell is used.
Local and cloud storage: Recordings can be saved to a microSD card of up to 512 GB inserted in the indoor monitor, so the footage stays safe even if the outdoor camera is damaged. EZVIZ CloudPlay cloud storage is also supported as a paid subscription.
H.265 video compression: H.265 keeps video files smaller than H.264, which saves storage space on the memory card.
Good to know
The microSD card is not included and is sold separately. EZVIZ CloudPlay is a subscription service available only in certain markets. Wi-Fi is 2.4 GHz only. The HP4 fits doors 35 to 105 mm thick with an existing peephole of 15.5 to 50 mm diameter.
