The SONOFF DW2-Wi-Fi is a battery-powered door and window sensor made of two parts: a transmitter mounted on the door or window and a magnet mounted on the frame. It connects directly to your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network and tells you in the eWeLink app whenever the door or window is opened or closed.

No gateway needed: The sensor joins your home Wi-Fi network on its own, so you do not need to buy a separate hub. Pairing and control are done through the eWeLink app on your phone.

Instant open alerts: When a monitored door or window is opened, the app sends a push notification to your phone. This lets you know about activity at an entrance even when you are not at home.

3 months of history: The app automatically saves the sensor's records for up to 3 months. You can look back at when a door or window was opened without setting anything up.

Camera link: You can bind a SONOFF camera in the app to visually confirm the activity when the sensor is triggered. This turns a simple open/close alert into something you can check with your own eyes.

Low-battery reminder: When the batteries run low, the app sends a notification. You can replace them before the sensor stops reporting.

Tool-free installation: Both parts are fixed with the included adhesive, so no drilling is needed. The gap between the transmitter and the magnet must be less than 5 mm when the door or window is closed.

Who it's for / Works with

Works with the eWeLink app on Android 4.1 / iOS 9.0 or higher. The door or window status can also be checked through Amazon Alexa or Google Home.

Good to know

Batteries are not included: the sensor needs 2 x AAA 1.5 V batteries. It works on 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi only (IEEE 802.11b), not on 5 GHz networks.
