The Hikvision DS-PDC10DM-EG2-WB is a wireless curtain detector for the Hikvision AX PRO alarm system that combines passive infrared (PIR) and 24 GHz microwave detection. Its slim body is designed to fit inside window frames, and with an IP65 rating it can be installed indoors or outdoors. It covers up to 10 m when wall-mounted (5 m on the ceiling) with a narrow 5° curtain-shaped detection angle.

Key Features
Dual-Tech Detection: The detector uses both PIR and microwave (24.15 to 24.25 GHz) sensing, with 32 detection zones and a detectable speed of 0.3 to 2 m/s. Digital processing, digital temperature compensation and a 6500 lux white light filter help it react to real movement rather than changes in light or heat.
Slim Curtain Design: The narrow 5° detection angle creates a thin protective curtain along a window, door or wall. The slim 29.2 mm wide housing is made for window-frame installation, and an L-shaped adapter is included for mounting.
IP65 Outdoor Rating: The detector is rated IP65 and specified for -25 °C to 60 °C. It can protect windows and openings from the outside as well as indoors.
Anti-Masking and Tamper Protection: Active IR anti-masking reports attempts to cover the detector, and creep zone protection is supported. Front and rear tamper switches report if the unit is opened or removed.
Directional Detection and Pet Mode: Directional detection is supported, and sensitivity can be set to Auto or Pet. Pet immunity is up to 12 kg when wall-mounted (not available when ceiling-mounted).
Secure Tri-X Wireless: The detector uses two-way 433 MHz RF with AES-128 encryption and frequency hopping against jamming. The transmission range is up to 1 km in free space.
Battery Powered: It runs on 2 × CR123A batteries (3 V) with up to 5 years of standby battery life. No power cable is needed at the window.
Easy Enrollment: Enroll it to the panel by power-up, remote ID or QR code. LED indicators show PIR (green), microwave (red), masking (green + orange) and alarm (blue), and the detector reports environment temperature and signal strength.

Good to know
Battery life can be significantly reduced at low temperatures. Pet immunity is not available when the detector is ceiling-mounted. Recommended mounting height is 2 to 3.5 m.
