Zigbee Smart Water Valve | Sonoff SWV-BSP

The SONOFF SWV-BSP is a battery-powered Zigbee 3.0 smart water valve that fits between your outdoor faucet and garden hose. It lets you open and close the water from your phone, run watering schedules or a set volume of water, and see how much water you used.

Fits between faucet and hose: The valve screws onto the faucet and the hose connects to its outlet, so no plumbing changes are needed. This SWV-BSP version uses the British Standard Pipe (BSP) thread.

Schedule and volume watering: You can choose schedule mode (water at set times for a set duration) or capacity mode (water until a set volume has passed), each as a single run or a repeating cycle. This lets you water a garden or plants automatically without leaving the tap open by mistake.

Water usage history: The app keeps up to 180 days of water usage and watering duration, viewable by day, week or month. This helps you see how much water your irrigation actually uses.

Automatic shut-off on water shortage: If the water supply runs out, the valve shuts off automatically, which protects the valve and avoids a schedule running with no water.

Smart home control: The valve connects over Zigbee 3.0 to a Zigbee hub and is then controlled from your phone. It also works with Amazon Alexa and Google Home voice control.

Outdoor rating: The housing is rated IP55 against dust and water jets, and it works from 5 °C to 60 °C with water from 5 °C to 40 °C.

Good to know

The valve does not work on its own over Wi-Fi: it needs a Zigbee 3.0 hub. It runs on 4 × AA 1.5 V batteries. The working water pressure range is 0.06 to 0.8 MPa.
