The Hikvision DS-PHA48-EP(B) is the AX Hybrid Pro intrusion alarm control panel: a wired panel that can also work with wireless detectors and peripherals. It has 8 on-board zones and can be expanded with 40 more wired/wireless zones (48 in total), with 16 areas, and it reports alarms over LAN, PSTN, GPRS or 3G/4G.

Hybrid Wired and Wireless System: 8 on-board zones plus 40 expandable wired/wireless zones, and 4 on-board outputs (2 relay outputs and 2 I/O outputs) expandable with 44 wired/wireless outputs. End-of-line resistors of 1K, 2.2K, 4.7K, 5.6K, 6.8K and 8.2K are supported, which makes it suitable for sites with existing alarm cabling.
Speed-X Bus and Video Verification: One Speed-X bus carries verification video and pictures from PIR-CAM detectors (up to 4 wired PIRCAMs). The panel also supports 2-channel on-board IP camera video verification, recording 5 s pre-alarm + 2 s post-alarm (or 2 s + 5 s) clips sent to email or the mobile client.
Flexible Arming and Notifications: Arm and disarm by keypad, keyfob, mobile client, iVMS-4200, SMS or tag. Alarm notifications are pushed by messages and Hik-Connect, and one customized voice library can be played in alarm phone calls.
Dual-Path Communication: Alarm events are sent over LAN, PSTN, GPRS or 3G/4G using a main and a backup channel with configurable priority. The panel has one 10/100 Mbps RJ45 Ethernet port; GPRS and 3G/4G modules are optional.
Monitoring and Platforms: Supports ISAPI, Cloud P2P, ISUP, CSV-IP and DC-09 (ADM-CID / SIA-DCS) protocols, and works with Hik-ProConnect, Hik-Connect, Hik IP Receiver, Hik IP Receiver Pro and Hik-Central.
Mains Power with Battery Backup: Powered from 100 to 240 VAC through an on-board transformer, with up to 36 hours of backup from a 12 V 7 Ah lead-acid battery. Bell output is up to 12 V 1.2 A and AUX output up to 12 V 1.5 A (2.1 A combined).
Tamper Protection: One switch detects removal from the mounting surface and another detects the front cover being opened.

Good to know: The 12 V 7 Ah backup battery is not included. GPRS and 3G/4G communication need the optional on-board module, and SMS notification requires one of these modules.
