The SONOFF Hydro series are battery-powered smart garden water valves with a built-in flow meter. They connect to a Zigbee 3.0 gateway for app control and automation, and also support Bluetooth (BLE) proximity mode for local control when no gateway is available. Both models listed here are the EU versions.
Choose Hydro ONE (SWV-ZFE) for a single watering outlet, or Hydro DUO (SWV-ZF2E) for two independent zones (A and B) from one tap.
Zigbee & Proximity Mode: Connected to a Zigbee gateway or coordinator, the valve can be controlled remotely and used in automations, including Home Assistant. In proximity (BLE) mode, essential irrigation control and settings remain available nearby even if the gateway goes offline.
Flexible Watering Schedules: Water by duration or by volume, with cycles on odd/even days, at intervals or on custom days. Hydro ONE stores up to six schedules; Hydro DUO stores up to six schedules per channel (12 in total). Weather-based skip and seasonal adjustment help avoid watering when it is not needed.
Two Independent Zones (Hydro DUO): Each outlet of the Hydro DUO has its own watering plan, so a lawn and a vegetable bed can be watered differently from the same tap.
Alerts, Child Lock & Brass Inlet: The app sends alerts for low battery, water shortage, leakage and frost risk, and a child lock prevents accidental operation. Both models use a brass water inlet for a durable connection to the tap; the DUO also has an anti-slip textured grip.
Who it's for / Works with: Gardens, lawns and planters that need automatic watering from an outdoor tap. Full remote control needs a Zigbee 3.0 gateway or coordinator (for example a SONOFF Zigbee gateway, or Home Assistant).
Good to know: These are the EU versions — the EU and US versions use different inlet/outlet thread specifications and are not interchangeable. Batteries are AA type (4 × AA).
