16 Channel AcuSense DVR (Value Series) | 8MP | Hikvision DS-7116HUHI-M1/S

This is a Hikvision 16-channel Turbo AcuSense DVR from the HUHI series. It takes HDTVI, AHD, CVI and CVBS cameras plus IP cameras, records up to 8 MP at 8 fps, and uses deep learning to tell people and vehicles apart.

8 MP recording: Main stream recording reaches 8 MP at 8 fps. HDTVI cameras are accepted up to 8 MP @ 15 fps and AHD cameras up to 5 MP @ 20 fps, and CVI and CVBS cameras are accepted too.

Motion Detection 2.0: Deep learning-based Motion Detection 2.0 is enabled by default on all analog channels and classifies people and vehicles. This cuts false alarms caused by leaves or changing light, and you can search recordings quickly by target type (human or vehicle).

Perimeter protection: Deep learning-based perimeter protection uses human/vehicle analysis on up to 4 channels, so perimeter alarms can be limited to people and vehicles. Hikvision notes that Motion Detection 2.0 and perimeter protection cannot be enabled at the same time.

H.265 Pro+ compression: Supports H.265 Pro+, H.265 Pro, H.265, H.264+ and H.264. H.265 Pro+ improves encoding efficiency, so the same hard disk holds more days of recording.

IP cameras and remote access: Besides the 16 analog channels, the DVR accepts IP cameras up to 8 MP. Hik-Connect and DDNS make remote viewing on a phone simple, and a Wi-Fi dongle on USB can connect the DVR to Wi-Fi.

Audio over coax: Audio can be carried over the coaxial cable on all 16 channels, using the same cable as the video, and two-way audio is supported.

• Recording needs a SATA hard disk.
• Motion Detection 2.0 and perimeter protection cannot run at the same time.
• The title model DS-7116HUHI-M1/S was not found in Hikvision's documents, and Hikvision's 16-channel HUHI recorders come in more than one model (for example iDS-7216HUHI-M2/S), so only specifications shared across the HUHI AcuSense DVR models are listed. Hard disk count, output resolutions, network speed and size depend on the exact model printed on the box label.
