IMOU PS8E PoE Turret Camera (3MP / 5MP) | IPC-PS8EP-3V0
The IMOU PS8E is a wired PoE turret camera for indoor and outdoor use, available in 3MP (2304×1296) and 5MP (2880×1620). One Ethernet cable carries both power and video (or use a 12V DC adapter), and the camera adds AI human and vehicle detection, color night vision up to 30 m, red-blue warning lights and two-way talk in an IP67 weatherproof housing.
It can record to a microSD card (up to 512GB), to Imou Cloud or to an NVR, and is viewed and managed from the Imou Life app.
Color: White
PoE or 12V DC Power: Connect the camera to a PoE NVR or PoE switch and a single network cable delivers both power and data, which keeps the installation clean. Where PoE is not available, it can also run from a 12V 1A DC adapter.
AI Human & Vehicle Detection: The camera recognises people and vehicles and sends alerts for them, which cuts down on false alarms from moving trees, shadows or animals. Motion detection and an abnormal sound alarm are also built in.
Color Night Vision & Active Deterrence: Four night vision modes (Infrared, Color, Smart and Off) let you choose between black-and-white infrared or full-color images at night, with a range of up to 30 m. Red-blue warning lights flash to deter intruders when someone is detected.
AOR Recording Mode: In All-day (Always-On) Recording mode the camera records continuously, but at full frame rate only during events and at 1 fps the rest of the time — so you keep a complete timeline while using much less storage.
Flexible Storage: Save footage on a microSD card of up to 512GB inside the camera, on Imou Cloud, or on an NVR, using H.265/H.264 compression.
Two-Way Talk: The built-in microphone and speaker let you hear what is happening and talk to visitors or delivery staff from your phone.
IP67 Weatherproof: The IP67-rated housing and an operating range of -30°C to +60°C make it suitable for outdoor walls, eaves and entrances.
Who it's for / Works with: Anyone building a wired PoE camera system. It records to an NVR, is ONVIF compatible, and is managed in the Imou Life app (iOS and Android).
Good to know: Choose the lens when ordering: 2.8 mm gives the wider view (about 96° horizontal on 3MP, 94° on 5MP), 3.6 mm a narrower, more zoomed-in view. The camera needs either a PoE port (PoE NVR or switch) or a 12V DC adapter; neither is listed in the box. The 5MP version records at up to 20 fps, the 3MP at up to 25/30 fps.
