The SONOFF SNZB-02UL (AirGuard series) is a Zigbee temperature and humidity sensor with a 2.9-inch E-Ink screen. The paper-like display has a nearly 180° viewing angle and stays readable in bright light. A Sensirion sensor gives ±0.2°C and ±2% RH accuracy with a refresh about every 5 seconds.

On its own it shows the current temperature and humidity and the last 6 hours of history; once paired to a hub, the screen can also show time, date, weather and a comfort icon.

2.9" E-Ink Display: The dot-matrix E-Ink screen reads like paper, is clear from different angles and does not wash out in sunny rooms or on balconies.

More Data When Connected: Connected to a SONOFF Zigbee gateway or Home Assistant, the screen shows time, date, weather and a comfort indicator next to the temperature and humidity.

6-Hour History on the Screen: Press the button to see the temperature and humidity of the past 6 hours directly on the device — no phone or gateway needed.

Accurate Sensirion Sensor: ±0.2°C (±0.4°F) temperature and ±2% RH humidity accuracy with readings refreshed about every 5 seconds. A double press of the button switches between °C and °F.

Remote Sensor Display: Show the readings of another paired sensor on the same gateway, so you can check a nursery, basement or greenhouse from where the display sits.

Flexible Placement: Stand it on a desk with its foldable stand, attach it to metal with the built-in magnet, hang it on the wall, or use the adhesive pad.

Who it's for / Works with: Anyone who wants a clear, always-on climate display. SONOFF lists these Zigbee hubs: SONOFF ZBBridge-P, ZBBridge-U, Bridge-M, NSPanel Pro and iHost (eWeLink app); Home Assistant via ZHA or Zigbee2MQTT with a SONOFF ZBDongle-P, ZBDongle-E, Dongle-M, Dongle-PMG24 or Dongle-LMG21; Amazon Echo (Plus 2nd Gen, Echo 4th Gen, Show 2nd Gen); and Aeotec SmartThings Hub (V3).

Good to know: A Zigbee hub is needed for the app, scenes and the extra screen data. Zigbee2MQTT supports it out of the box, but the remote sensor and weather functions need a script; ZHA support is limited until native support is merged. SONOFF's setup notes list iHost support as coming with a later firmware update, so check your gateway firmware first. Keep it within 0–50°C. Indoor use only.
