The TP-Link Omada SM5110-LR (TL-SM5110-LR) is a 10GBASE-LR SFP+ transceiver for single-mode fiber. It works at 1310 nm and carries full-duplex 10 Gbps Ethernet up to 10 km over 9/125 µm fiber with an LC duplex connector.
10 Gbps up to 10 km: Long-reach (LR) optics let you link buildings or distant network racks at 10 Gbps over single-mode fiber up to 10 km.
Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM): Supported switches can read live module data, which helps when checking and troubleshooting a fiber link.
Hot-pluggable, SFP+ MSA: The module can be inserted or removed while the switch is running and follows the SFP+ Multi-Source Agreement. TP-Link lists switches with 10G SFP+ ports, such as SG3428X and SG3428XMP, as compatible.
Who it's for / Works with: Switches with 10G SFP+ ports, such as the Omada SG3428X and SG3428XMP, connected over single-mode fiber.
Good to know: This module is for single-mode fiber only (9/125 µm). The fiber patch cable is not included, and both ends of the link need matching 10GBASE-LR optics.
