16 Channel AcuSense DVR (Value Series) | 5MP | Hikvision iDS-7116HQHI-M1/S
This is the Hikvision iDS-7116HQHI-M1/S, a 16-channel AcuSense Turbo HD DVR. It records up to 16 analog cameras (HDTVI, AHD, CVI or CVBS) at up to 4 MP lite on every channel, accepts IP cameras as well, and uses deep-learning Motion Detection 2.0 to cut false alarms.
Motion Detection 2.0 on all analog channels: Deep-learning motion detection is enabled by default on every analog channel. It classifies humans and vehicles, so leaves or lights cause far fewer false alarms, and you can quickly search recordings by object or event type.
Perimeter protection: Line crossing detection and intrusion detection are available on 4 channels, for fences, gates and other boundaries.
16 analog channels plus IP cameras: The 16 BNC inputs accept HDTVI (up to 3K), AHD, CVI and CVBS. It also takes 2 IP channels (up to 18 in total), or 8 IP channels (up to 24 in total) in Enhanced IP mode, each up to 6 MP.
Recording and compression: All channels can record at up to 4 MP lite. H.265 Pro+ / H.265 Pro / H.265 / H.264+ / H.264 compression reduces storage use, and one SATA bay takes a hard drive of up to 10 TB.
Viewing, audio and network: HDMI and VGA output at the same time, up to 1920 × 1080. Audio comes in over the coaxial cable on all 16 channels plus one RCA input, with RCA output and two-way audio. A gigabit RJ45 port, Hik-Connect and DDNS give remote access for up to 128 connections.
Good to know
- Motion Detection 2.0 and perimeter protection cannot be enabled at the same time; enabling one disables the other.
- Enhanced IP mode may conflict with smart events such as perimeter protection.
- One SATA bay; a hard drive is needed for recording. No PoE ports and no alarm inputs/outputs.
