Sonoff SNZB-06P Zigbee Human Presence Sensor – Advanced mm Wave Detection with Light Sensing and 4m Range

The SONOFF SNZB-06P is a Zigbee 3.0 human presence sensor that uses 5.8GHz microwave radar to detect people who are moving and people who are sitting or standing still. It has a built-in light sensor, a detection distance of up to 4 m with three sensitivity levels, and runs on 5V 1A power through a USB Type-C port.

Detects presence, not only motion: A normal PIR motion sensor can turn the lights off while you sit still at a desk or on the sofa. The 5.8GHz radar of the SNZB-06P also detects people who are not moving, so lights and scenes can stay on while someone is in the room and turn off after they leave.

Built-in light sensor: The sensor also measures the ambient light, so an automation can turn the lights on only when the room is dark, not when there is already enough daylight.

Adjustable detection distance: Sensitivity can be set to three levels, from 2.5 m up to 4 m. A shorter distance helps when you want the sensor to cover only part of a room, for example a desk or a corridor, and not react to the next area.

Zigbee router: Because it is powered from USB and not from a battery, the SNZB-06P works as a Zigbee router device. It can pass on signals from other Zigbee devices and helps extend and strengthen your Zigbee network.

Who it's for / Works with

Needs a Zigbee 3.0 gateway, such as SONOFF NSPanel Pro, iHost or ZB Bridge Pro. It can be used with Alexa, Google Home, SmartThings, IFTTT and Home Assistant.

Good to know

The sensor needs constant 5V 1A power through its USB Type-C port; it has no battery. It does not work on its own and needs a Zigbee gateway.
